Honeystone House

Hidden in the heart of rural Northumberland and the lush North Tyneside Valley, Honeystone House is a place to relax and unwind, somewhere to be shared with friends or family. Quintessentially English, Honeystone House is, as it has always been, a family home at heart, surrounded by 10 acres of unspoilt countryside, landscaped gardens and woodland.

A substantial Georgian country house, it has been beautifully reimagined into an exquisite holiday retreat, somewhere from which extended family and groups of friends can enjoy all that Northumberland has to offer.
Honeystone House represents all that’s good about contemporary country house living. The splendour, comfort and form of the classic country house blended with a modern function that meets the needs of modern life. From the moment you step into the soaring, light-filled entrance hall, you feel the warmth and spirit of home.

Despite its generous proportions, Honeystone House exudes a warm, intimate atmosphere, blending timeless character with contemporary comfort and chic interior design. Communal living areas are filled with original architectural features such as stone floors, intricate plasterwork and flooded with natural light through 12-pane sash windows with carefully restored wooden shutters.

Bedrooms have their own distinct character and individual charm, decorated with pared-back restful palettes, luxuriously dressed in natural materials, and thoughtfully curated objects collected throughout its history. The House is overflowing with charm and personality, with a mix of inviting spaces, convivial social hubs and intimate corners. It’s all here, and it’s waiting for you.

From the moment you step into the soaring, light-filled entrance hall and through into the large adjoining reception room, you feel the warmth and spirit of home.
