There is ample parking available for guests on the gravelled access courtyard.
Electric Vehicle Charging
The electric charging point is privately owned and not for the use of guests. The nearest electric vehicle charging points can be accessed at Lidl, Wentworth Leisure Centre. Humshaugh Village Hall, Tyne Mills Industrial Estate and Hexham General Hospital are all within four miles of Honeystone House.
Two dogs are welcome to stay at Honeystone House at an additional cost of £35 per dog. They must be clean and dry before entering the property (outside hose available) and kept in the boot room or utility room.
A travel cost and highchair are available on request.
If you fancy a child-free night, we can provide details of a fully qualified, registered. DBS-checked and experienced nanny or babysitter.
The main access gate bounds a main road. Therefore, when outside, please take care to supervise children at all times.
The property benefits from a wood-burning stove in the large reception room and open fires in both the drawing room and dining room. The heating system is oil-fired, and the radiators are thermostatically controlled.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, and mobile phone reception is generally very good.
The Annexe and Coach House at the rear of Honeystone House are privately let. During your stay, we ask that you respect the tenant’s privacy. The tenants also use the main access gate, so guests are asked to be mindful that they require access at all times.
We are fortunate to have some excellent chefs, cooks and caterers on our doorstep, providing the very best Northumbrian cooking and produce. They can provide a variety of personal catering services for the duration of your stay, on a part-time basis or for one-off celebratory occasions.
